Ovulation induction drugs triggers the development of more than one egg during ovulation. Injectable Gonadotropins may also be used to induce multiple eggs and henceforth increasing the chances of conception. Drugs are started from day 2 of menstural cycle and egg growth is monitored from the 12th day  on  alternate days.

Once the eggs are mature, patient  will receive HCG injection to induce ovulation and timed intercourse or intrauterine insemination is planned.

The pregnancy rates per cycle is 10-15%. The side effects of Gonadotropins are multiple pregnancy.
